Scan control methods

Different scan modes of the microscope are summarized in Table 1.2.

Table 1.2: Scan modes. When a piezo is the fast axis source, the NI PCI-6534 REQ1 pulse output serves as the master clock pulse. When a stepper motor is the fast axis source, the motor step pulses are used as the master clock pulse.
