Installation of Agilents N-1231A board was performed following
instructions in the manual
stxm5/agilent/N1231-90002_000502.pdf. Before inserting
Delta Tau accessory boards ACC-14D which are used to input the
signal from Agilent board to Delta Tau PMAC2 contoler board,
jumpers were set as described on page 4-8 in
N1231-90002_000502.pdf .
Interferometer axis alignment is explained in detail in the manual
stxm5/agilent/05517-90045_000702.pdf in Chapters 4, 7J,
and 8. After the alignment, one is able to read interferometer
position using the N1231A Monitor Program.
To read the interferometer positions on the Delta Tau PMAC2 encoder, a conversion table setup is needed; this will be explained in Sec. 4.1.3.
