This is just used for alignment, since you do not get rid of all
ambient O2 and also get considerably lower flux than with a pumped
out chamber.
- Attach the polyflow tubing through the upstream inboard
viewport to the mating Swagelock connector located at the inside
wall of the chamber.
- Make sure that the ZP, OSA and detector are connected to the manifold.
- Open the helium bottle and regulator located upstream
of the STXM. The flowmeter next to the electronics rack should be
adjusted to a flux around 4.
