Dark signal subtraction and conversion to photon count rate

The x-ray flux (photons per second) into one detector segment is calculated as follows:

The calibrated signal (count rate) is calculated from the raw data automatically by SM_GUI or read_stxm5.pro. Make sure you look at the correct signal (see Chap. 9)! If you want to do it yourself, apply the two formulas listed above.
