From the file system in the X1A network

As told above, the data files are automatically stored in the microscope server computer's data directory. You'll hardly ever work on that computer directly, but that directory is available in various network locations:

• On the microscope client computer in the directory /mnt/data or in the subdirectory data of micros' home directory.

  This is only for the data of the respective microscope!

• On the machine x1a.nsls.bnl.gov in the directory /mnt/MICROSCOPE_data. Table 1.1 lists the microscope short names that can be used for MICROSCOPE.

• On any machine in the local beamline subnet through the Samba protocol (Windows network on Windows machines). The address is $\backslash\backslash$x1a$\backslash$mnt$\backslash$MICROSCOPE_data, where MICROSCOPE is again the microscope short name from Table 1.1.

From any computer in the local network, you can access these network locations directly from the "Open Local Data File" window in SM_GUI.
