Beamline printer problems

To print a file on the beamline laser printer, do lpr filename. To see the files waiting to be printed, use the lpq command. If the printer receives files to print from several computers at once, the printer queue on one of the computers may go down. Fix any problem the printer has, and then use the command /usr/sbin/lpc up to restart the queue.

If the Hewlett-Packard printer at the beamline shows ``Initializing'' on its front panel, it may mean that it has a paper jam.
