Outboard Detectors

The outboard microscope has the following detectors installed:

Proportional counter

(COUNTER) This is the main detector for this microscope. It counts all the transmitted photons.

Visible Light Microscope

(VLM) This is obviously not an x-ray detector, but is used for preliminary alignment etc.

Segmented Silicon Detector

(SIDET) As on the inboard microscope, but it's not routinely used on outboard.
