As was noted in Sec. 2.10, the
second of two methods of making GIF animations requires
that you install the program
multigif which is available
here.
You should put multigif.exe in a place
where your PATH can find it (e.g., for
Windows in C:\windows\\command, and for unix in
/usr/local/bin).
Finally, if you want to work with Argonne data files stored in the NEXUS format, you must download the file nidl.pro from here and do
IDL> .run nidlat the very start of your IDL session.
