Piezo scans

The range for piezo scans is in theory about 80 $\mu$m. The software restricts piezo scans to a 60 $\mu$m field, and it turns out that anything over 50 $\mu$m gives distorted edges of the image. This is probably due to the preload on the piezos being too large. Before using the piezos, make sure the power supply to the piezos is turned on. It has to be connected to the piezo interlock. Bad pressure will turn the power supply off and ensure that the piezos don't get damaged by sparking at intermediate pressures.

Note: To reduce vibrations and this improve the image quality, always choose YPZT as the fast scan axis.
