Custom Scans

The scan setup menu lets you choose arbitrary scan axis, meaning you can scan stepper y agains piezo x if you choose so.

1. From the menu select Scan $\longrightarrow$ Custom Scan.
2. Choose motors for X-axis (fast axis) (column device) and Y-axis (slow axis) (row device).
3. For each axis, you can choose two out of the following three parameters: Pixels (i.e. number of pixels), Pixelsize (in $\mu$m), Fieldsize (in $\mu$m). In addition, choose the dwell time in ms and uni- or bidirectional scan type.
